QUOTATION NOTICE
Sealed Quotation are invited from interested parties/dealers/suppliers for supply of meat, chicken etc as specified in the Schedule attached herewith for a period of one year from the date of awarding of the supply order. The quotation in a sealed cover superscribed “Quotation for supply of Meat, Chicken etc for SPORTS, Lakshadweep” should reach The Deputy General Manager, SPORTS, U.T of Lakshadweep, Tourism Bhavan, Kavaratti-682555 on or before 1500 hrs on 20.4.2009. The quotations received so will be opened at 1530 hrs on the same day. The quotations should be accompanied by an EMD of Rs.10000/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Deputy General Manager, SPORTS, U.T of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti”. This quotation notice is subject to following terms and conditions. |

| Terms and Conditions. |

Supplier should supply the items at ship or any other place specified by the Assistant General Manager, SPORTS, Kochi at his own risk and cost as per the order of Asst. General Manager/concerned Managers from time to time. |
| |
|
|
Supplier should supply the items in good condition. Chicken, Meat, Beef etc should frozen. If any items is found not in good quality, and not to the satisfaction of the SPORTS, such items will be rejected and no payment will be made for it. |
| |
|
|
The items should be supplied by the supplier on getting short notice/order from the authority on the basis of indent. |
| |
|
|
The last date of submission of the quotation is 20.04.2009 and the same will be opened on the same day at 1530 hrs in the presence of the quotationers or their authorised representatives. |
| |
|
|
Quotation in a sealed cover may be addressed and delivered in the office of the Deputy General Manager, SPORTS (Tourism Bhavan) Kavaratti- 682 555 on all working days from 10.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs. |
| |
|
|
Quotation must be accompanied by earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs.10,000/- in the form of pay order/D.D. drawn in favour of Deputy General Manager, SPORTS, Payable at Syndicate bank, Kavaratti. |
| |
|
|
All the rights are reserved and rest with General Manager, SPORTS, Kavaratti, U.T.of Lakshadweep. In case of any dispute on quotations the decisions of General Manager, SPORTS shall be final and binding in all respect. |
| |
|
|
Quotations with the schedule will be available at the Office of the Deputy General Manager, SPORTS(HQ), Tourism Bhavan, Kavaratti or Assistant General Manager/ Manager, SPORTS of all the Units on payment of Rs.500/- (not refundable). Those who buy the Quotation Notice with Schedule are eligible to submit quotations |

Indents will be placed to supplier for supplying the item at least 24 hrs. in advance at normal course even though emergency indents will be placed at any time depending upon the necessity. |
| |
|
|
If the contractor fails to supply the items continuously two times, SPORTS will have the right to terminate the contract at any time with an advance notice of two days (48 hrs.) |
| |
|
|
Samples of all quoted items should be given to the SPORTS Office on request. |
| |
|
|
The rate should be for delivery of the articles at ship, or any other place specified by the SPORTS as per the direction of the Officer in charge of SPORTS. |
| |
|
|
No representation for enhancement of price once accepted will be considered during the entire one year. |
| |
|
|
Lowest quotation will be accepted subject to quality ability to supply in time etc and successful quotationer will have to supply the materials as and when required. No advance will be paid. |
| |
|
|
The payment of cost of materials will be made only after checking the items by the representatives deputed for the purpose and also after complete satisfaction of genuineness or specification of the items. |

|
|
No transport charges will be made for the articles supplied under any circumstance. |
